evening of song and celebration with the
students of renowned vocal coach Michelle
Dawson (Broadway: Spiderman: Turn off the Dark,
Mamma Mia!, Ragtime, Showboat, Cyrano, The Musical)
Michelle is available to actors and singers of all ages and levels for Voice Lessons, Acting and Master Classes.
Lessons address the student's specific needs in a supportive one on one setting.
She strives to share her knowledge and experience of over 30 years in a professional Musical Theatre career to help nurture performers and guide them towards a path of discovery
as an artist.
Michelle incorporates Cross Training , Vocal Technique, Song Interpretation, Musical Theatre Technique and introduces, the world of Auditioning.
She helps them explore this through improvisation, acting games, movement, and singing.

My experience includes a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University in vocal performance and musical theatre voice. I have taught at Stage Left Childrens Theatre, Orangetown Recreation Program, the NY State Theater Institute summer intensive program for children and the Bridge Studio for Performing Arts among others. I have performed in five Broadway shows, including Mamma Mia! and Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.
